Kleen Slate's professional deep cleaning goes beyond everyday maintenance to address buildup, overlooked details, edges, fixtures, surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas that do not necessarily need attention during every recurring cleaning.
Every deep cleaning can be customized. During the initial in-home consultation, we walk through the home, discuss priorities, identify areas needing additional attention, and establish a customized plan with an estimate of the hours required. You can deep clean the entire home or select specific rooms, floors, or areas.

The difference
Regular maintenance cleaning focuses on keeping frequently used surfaces and rooms consistently clean. Deep cleaning takes that service further by focusing on areas where dust, fingerprints, grease, pet hair, soap residue, and everyday buildup accumulate over time. Depending on the home and selected areas, deep cleaning includes:

The details, defined
Wall washing. When needed and appropriate for the wall surface and paint condition, deep cleaning includes washing accessible walls up to approximately 8 feet: fingerprints, smudges, food splatter, dust, pet marks, general residue, light scuffing when safely removable, and frequently touched areas around switches and doors. Some marks, stains, damaged paint, flat paint, touch-up paint, discoloration, or permanent scuffs may not be safely removable through cleaning. Walls above approximately 8 feet and ceilings are not included.
Interior windows and tracks. Deep cleaning includes interior windows that can be safely reached from the floor or with our standard step ladder: interior glass, fingerprints and smudges, pet nose and paw marks, sills, tracks, and accessible frames. Unusually high or specialty windows requiring extension ladders or specialty equipment are not included.
Light fixtures. Accessible light fixtures are cleaned when they can be safely reached with our normal equipment and standard step ladder. High-to-reach lighting, chandeliers, and oversized hanging fixtures are not included; we do not use extension ladders or specialty height-access equipment.
Inside and out
Your entryway is one of the first things you and your guests see when entering your home. It is also a high-traffic area that can collect dust, dirt, fingerprints, cobwebs, and outdoor debris.
As part of deep cleaning, we give foyers, entryways, front doors, and accessible front porch areas additional attention, so the home feels cared for from the first step inside.
What's included

Weather permitting, deep cleaning also includes the exterior side of the front door, front door glass inside and out, accessible exterior windows around the front entry, porch rugs and mats, and cobweb removal from the porch and entry area. Outdoor entry cleaning is completed only when weather and surface conditions allow our team to work safely, and only where areas can be reached from the ground or with our standard step ladder.
If the dishwasher is empty upon arrival, our team will load one dishwasher. Excessive dishes, grease, food residue, or heavier buildup can increase the time required. Inside refrigerator, inside oven, and inside empty cabinets or drawers can be scheduled as add-on services.
Heavy hard-water, mineral, or soap-scum buildup can require significant additional time. Permanent mineral etching, staining, or damaged finishes may not be completely removable through cleaning.
For employee safety and to protect furnishings and flooring, we do not move couches, heavy chairs, entertainment centers, beds, dressers, or other large or heavy furniture. We clean around and underneath these items where safely accessible without moving them.
High chandeliers and fixtures that cannot be safely reached with our standard step ladder are not included.
If desks, tables, or shelving contain a large amount of paperwork or work materials, we clean around those items to the best of our ability. We do not move, stack, reorganize, file, or determine where important documents belong.
We take appropriate care around touchscreens, electronics, specialty finishes, and equipment requiring manufacturer-specific cleaning methods.
We ask that toys and personal belongings be picked up before arrival so our team can focus on cleaning and sanitation rather than organization.
Finished basements can contain several different types of living spaces, so the deep-cleaning plan is customized according to what is present.
Before we arrive
Deep cleaning is labor-intensive, and we want scheduled hours focused on the detailed work you are hiring us to perform. We ask that rooms be reasonably picked up before arrival: clothing, shoes, toys, papers, personal belongings, items covering countertops, and excess items on floors. If surfaces are covered with excessive items, we clean accessible portions to the best of our ability, and surfaces that cannot reasonably be accessed are skipped.

After completing a deep clean, ongoing professional maintenance can help prevent the home from returning to the same level of buildup. Kleen Slate offers weekly, biweekly, and monthly recurring cleaning, and every recurring visit includes one room or area receiving additional deep-cleaning attention.
Whole home or one floor
You do not have to deep clean your entire home. Kleen Slate can create a plan to deep clean the whole house, one floor, selected rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, high-traffic areas, or specific detailed areas such as walls, baseboards, doors, windows, blinds, or entryways.

per cleaner, per hour
Deep cleaning is charged at $55 per cleaner, per hour. For example, four cleaners working for three hours equals twelve hours of cleaning time, or $660. You are charged for the actual cleaning time used.
